Arlington Hate Crimes Panel

Arlington Hate Crimes Panel

About This Campaign

This training is meant specifically for prosecutors, investigators and law enforcement officials. It will stress the reasons for vigorous hate crimes enforcement, the importance of developing strong ties with vulnerable communities, and appropriate investigative measures when a hate crime is reported.

Learn from trainers — former federal Prosecutors and Investigators — with decades of experience investigating and prosecuting hate crimes. This interactive program provides an exchange between the trainers and attendees to promote a better understanding of (1) what is and what is not a hate crime, (2) the best practices to investigate such matters, and (3) how to build prosecutable cases or, when the evidence is insufficient, to explain to the community why no prosecution is warranted.

Credit hours through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement & Texas Bar CLE are pending.
